Their purpose remains unclear, but they may have been a ritual center or an astronomical calendar. Yes, we&#8217;re talking about<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/viajesmachupicchu.travel\/en\/information\/america-s-most-ancient-civilization-the-caral-culture\" class=\"aioseop-link\">Caral culture<\/a><\/strong>. It is located roughly 200 kilometers north of Lima, tucked away in the beautiful Supe Valley. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to radiocarbon dating, Caral has a long history that dates back to about 3000 BC.
