You\u2019ll often see them alongside other birds<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The&nbsp; Humboldt Penguin&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, we have the Humboldt penguins. They are truly amazing, and they&#8217;re also Paracas&#8217; favorite birds! Even though they can&#8217;t fly, they have adapted beautifully to life in the water. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their wings have turned into flippers, which help them swim gracefully beneath the surface.\u00a0To keep warm in their icy habitat, these penguins have a thick layer of fat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This helps them stay cozy and maintain a steady body temperature. They have dark feathers on their back and lighter ones on their belly. They face threats from poaching, as people hunt them for food, and there is also a demand for their chicks as pets.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Marine Mammals<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sea Lions:\u00a0 <\/strong>You can often see them relaxing on the rocks or swimming gracefully in the ocean.
